About the retreat
Washington Island, WI is a hidden gem of Lake Michigan. Your adventure will begin on the most photographed road in Wisconsin on your way to catch the ferry to Washington Island.
The ferry ride is it’s own experience!
The ferry is a key part of life on Washington Island. It moves lifelong locals and day-tripping tourists, groceries and appliances and packages for delivery. Island residents plan their days around the ferry schedule, especially in the winter when the number of trips is reduced to two per day.
Once on the Island, you’ll instantly feel a different atmosphere. Time flows more slowly here...
Over the weekend you will be guided trough 4 yoga classes. Each class will interweave the practices of postures, breath work and energy locks.
During your free time you can explore picturesque beaches, tour architectural treasures, visit the Lavender field and get a panoramic view of the Island from a Mountain Tower.
You will find peace and renewal during your stay at the grand old Hotel Washington, shadowed by giant oaks and refreshed by lake breezes.
The hotel has eight charming second-floor rooms, with either forest or harbor views and two spacious shared bathrooms. Plush bedding with deluxe linens, mattresses designed for restful sleep, bathrobes, a basket of organic toiletries and complementary WiFi are all part of your lodging experience.
You will be guided through 4 practices over the weekend.
